Acceptance of Terms​

By accessing or using the Trading Card API service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

Description of Service​

Trading Card API provides access to trading card data through a RESTful API. The service is currently in beta development and subject to changes.

Beta Service Notice​

IMPORTANT: This is a beta service. The API is under active development and:

  • Data structures may change without notice
  • Service availability is not guaranteed
  • Features may be added, modified, or removed
  • Breaking changes may occur during beta period

API Access and Usage​

API Keys​

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key
  • You must not share your API key with unauthorized parties
  • We may revoke or change API keys at any time

Acceptable Use​

You agree to:

  • Use the API only for lawful purposes
  • Respect rate limits and usage quotas
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer or replicate the service
  • Not use the API to harm our infrastructure or other users

Prohibited Uses​

You may not:

  • Resell or redistribute API data without permission
  • Use the API for illegal or fraudulent activities
  • Attempt to overwhelm or disrupt our servers
  • Use automated scripts to scrape data beyond rate limits

Data and Content​

Our Data​

  • We provide trading card data "as is" without warranties
  • Data accuracy is not guaranteed during beta period
  • We reserve the right to modify or remove data
  • No guarantee of data completeness or real-time accuracy

Your Applications​

  • You retain ownership of applications you build using our API
  • You are responsible for your application's compliance with laws
  • You must include appropriate disclaimers about data accuracy

Service Availability​

Beta Service Limitations​

  • Service uptime is not guaranteed
  • Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance may occur
  • Data may be temporarily unavailable
  • API endpoints may change during development

Termination​

We may suspend or terminate your access:

  • For violation of these terms
  • For abusive usage patterns
  • At our discretion during beta period
  • With reasonable notice when possible

Intellectual Property​

Our Rights​

  • We retain all rights to the API service and data
  • Trading Card API name and branding are our property
  • You may not use our trademarks without permission

Your Rights​

  • You retain rights to your applications
  • Limited license to use our data in your applications
  • Right to use publicly available API documentation

Disclaimers and Limitations​

Service Warranty​

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

Liability Limitation​

IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
