Refund Policy
Last updated: August 16, 2026
This policy explains when Trading Card API subscription charges are refundable, what happens when you cancel, and how to ask us for a refund. It applies to all subscriptions purchased through our self-serve checkout.
Try Before You Buy
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial — no credit card required. The trial exists so you can evaluate the API against your own integration before any money changes hands: full read access to the card database, real rate limits, real data.
We ask you to use it. Because the trial gives you a complete, no-risk evaluation window, our refund policy after that point is deliberately narrow.
Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscription charges are non-refundable once the billing period has begun. When you are charged, you receive access to the service for that full period.
As a one-time courtesy, if you are a first-time paying customer and the service did not work out for you, you may request a refund of your most recent charge within 14 days of that charge. We will refund it in full. This courtesy applies once per account.
Cancellation and Proration
You can cancel at any time.
- There is no proration for the unused remainder of a billing period.
- Your access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for.
- Your subscription simply does not renew, and you are not charged again.
Cancelling does not by itself trigger a refund. If you believe a refund is warranted, ask us using the process below.
Annual and Enterprise Arrangements
Annual and Enterprise plans are not sold through our self-serve checkout. Refunds and cancellation terms for those arrangements are governed by the written agreement covering that arrangement, which takes precedence over this page where the two differ. Contact us directly to discuss an Enterprise refund.
Service Problems and Billing Errors
Two situations are handled as corrections rather than discretionary refund requests, and neither is limited by the windows above:
- Billing errors — a duplicate charge, a charge after a confirmed cancellation, or a charge on the wrong plan. Tell us and we will correct it.
- Sustained service outages — if the API is unavailable for an extended period within a billing cycle, contact us and we will issue an appropriate credit or refund for the affected time.
How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] and include:
- The email address on your account.
- The date and amount of the charge.
- A short note on why you are requesting the refund.
We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date, and the policy in effect at the time of your charge is the one that applies to it.
